LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (June 14, 2006) - For the first time, Disney Cruise Line is adding European flair to its itinerary offerings. During the summer of 2007, the Disney Magic will reposition to the Port of Barcelona in Spain and offer alternating 10- and 11-night Mediterranean cruises. The eight European ports of call will include gateways to the famous cities of Florence, Rome, Pisa and Cannes"Guests who've sailed with us continue to look for new reasons to return, and this new itinerary responds to that overwhelming demand," said George Aguel, senior vice president, Disney Resort Destinations. "These itineraries offer a completely new Disney incentive experience for individuals and groups." Complimenting the new itineraries, Disney Cruise Line recently introduced new enhancements to the Vista Spa & Salon aboard the Disney Magic. Consistently ranked among the top spas at sea, the spa now offers indoor/outdoor "spa villa" suites. Another industry first for Disney Cruise Line, each of the three new suites features a relaxing treatment room and adjoining verandah that's complete with a hot tub, open-air shower and a luxurious chaise lounge. With their incredible ocean vistas and warm tropical breezes, the suites provide a new level of tranquility and relaxation.

As part of the spa expansion, the fitness center was doubled in size and now offers more exercise equipment and a studio for spinning classes. The fitness center also features private salons for Pilates instruction and for one-on-one beauty and fitness consultations. The expansion brings the total size of the Vista Spa & Salon to 10,700-square feet. Reinventing the cruise experience, Disney Cruise Line continues to receive accolades from meeting professionals and attendees alike. Readers of Travel + Leisure have rated Disney Cruise Line among the top four lines at sea, and the line has earned an annual spot on the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Gold List since 2000.

The four 11-night itineraries will depart on Saturdays: May 26, June 16, July 7 and July 28; while the four 10-night itineraries will depart on Wednesdays: June 6, June 27, July 18 and Aug. 8. Both itineraries will depart from the port of Barcelona. Two 14-night trans-Atlantic sailings bookend the 10- and 11-night adventures, with the eastbound itinerary scheduled to depart from Port Canaveral, Fla., on May 12, and the westbound departing from Barcelona, on August 18.
